JOIN THE TEAM

Here are all the roles we currently have available…

Alum Trustee

Orchestras for All is looking for an Alum Trustee to join our Board of Trustees for a two-year term, helping us shape the future of our charity and supporting its ambition to empower young people nationwide. Those applying for the position of Trustee should be aged 18-25 and either a current NOFA member or NOFA alum.

In this role, a key responsibility will be to Co-Chair OFA’s Youth Board, which is made up of young people from our programmes. This will enable the Alum Trustee to gain insight from our participants that can later be shared during trustees’ meetings. The OFA team and our trustees will provide support and training for this throughout.

We are looking for a group of dedicated young people to join our Youth Board and represent the voices and opinions of young people across the organisation. The Youth Board will be consulted on all major decisions made by the organisation and will have the opportunity to bring their own ideas to the table to shape and improve our work.

This role is only open to current NOFA members or NOFA alums aged 14-25. We would also like to hear from you if you have been involved in Modulo, in addition to being involved with NOFA.

 Volunteers

For every Orchestras for All event, we rely on a team of enthusiastic volunteers to help us run the show. Volunteers are invited to join us for any (or all) of the events during the season and are welcome to get involved in the following ways:

  • Supporting young musicians to learn repertoire during full and sectional rehearsals;

  • Supporting young musicians during improvisation and composition sessions during the regional and national Modulo Meets, and

  • Supporting young musicians during performances.

We are also happy to involve volunteers in behind-the-scenes work of the charity, including pre-event planning, event delivery, impact and evaluation or general arts administration work, such as fundraising, marketing and PR.

If you are interested in being involved with OFA as a volunteer, please contact us at info@orchestrasforall.org or on 0207 267 4141. We’d love to hear from you.
